What are LEAD Fellows?
LEAD Fellows are current undergraduate students who serve as peer education facilitators. They are trained to facilitate a variety of leadership development workshops for all students on campus and support the appLEADs programs. Each workshop focuses on a different leadership topic or skill to foster your personal and professional development. You’ll get great experience and information to help you lead and be able to network with other students interested in leadership.

The work that the LEAD Team does is some of the most important work on campus. Every student has leadership capacity, and most will act in some leadership capacity throughout their time at App, even though most will not receive proper leadership education. While students need to have their own experiences that lead to developing their leadership style, providing them with the tools to be the type of leaders we want out in the world is essential. Teaching students about strengths-based, empathetic leadership is something I have carried over into other roles because of my work with the LEAD Team.
