We’re excited to introduce a brand-new leadership development experience for students at Appalachian State University through the Office of Community-Engaged Leadership – appLEADs! This program is designed to help you lead yourself first: discover your leadership style, explore your values, develop resilience, and so much more.
Here’s the exciting part: the LEAD Workshop Series you may have heard about is now connected to this program! If you’re interested in earning the Leadership MEDALLION but haven’t attended a workshop yet, don’t worry. You have this spring semester to complete all appLEADs requirements. If you can’t finish this semester, the program will start fresh again next fall, so there will be another opportunity.
Save the Dates: AppLEADs Advance – January 29th & 30th
This is a required first step for the Leadership MEDALLION. During the Advance, our team will review all program expectations and requirements, and you’ll have the chance to build community with other participants. Visit our website for more information!
